Since April 2022, all plastic packaging made from less than 30% recycled content is subject to a new Plastic Packaging Tax of £200 per tonne. In the majority of cases, the best way to minimise the impact of the tax is to switch to plastic packaging products that are made from a minimum of 30% recycled content.
